Andrew Alix is a 2019 graduate of Virginia Tech based in Charlotte, North Carolina. After several years in student journalism, his true introduction to the Hokie sports media scene came as co-host of The Drive on ESPN Radio Blacksburg from 2018 to 2022. It was there he met Mike McDaniel — and the rest, as they say, is history.
In addition to co-hosting Hokie Hangover, Andrew hosts the Inside the Tunnel podcast for VTScoop 247Sports and contributes written commentary for in-season panel articles.
When he’s not covering, attending, or tailgating for Virginia Tech football games, Andrew can be found skiing, golfing, traveling, or cheering on the New York Mets and Washington D.C.’s NFL franchise.
